Our Professional Process
Warehousing & Sales
We offer scalable warehousing with secure storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment. We manage the entire sales process, including picking, packing, and dispatching orders to your installation teams.
Product Training
We offer training to equip installers and sales teams with product, technical knowledge and operational skills. This ensures they can effectively handle system installations, maintenance, and sales.
Technical Support
We offer technical support during system design, installation, and commissioning. This includes product guidance, troubleshooting, configuration, and expert advice for efficient installations.
RMA
We manage product returns, warranty claims, and fault assessments. Which involves coordinating diagnostics, repairs or replacements with manufacturers for quick turnaround times.
Get Off Grid is now the largest Victron Energy distributor in Africa, and one of the largest in the World. We have grown to one of the largest solar equipment distributors in Gauteng. Get Off Grid is committed to continuing to grow and expand our product lines and availability of services. Our high quality lithium battery brand, BSLB lithium batteries, have become a well-known and respected brand of battery throughout South Africa. We continue to develop this brand and product, ensuring the best quality of product and warranty on all batteries. As demand for self-sufficient power sources in Africa grows, we aim to be there with it, providing economically sustainable power solutions to all our customers.
Our History
Scosha Developments t/a Get Off Grid was founded in 2013 as a heat pump installation business. During South Africa’s rebate programme, our team installed over 2,500 systems, building a strong foundation in energy efficiency and electrical infrastructure.
As the market evolved, Get Off Grid transitioned into solar and renewable energy, supporting installers and integrators in the country. The name “Get Off Grid” is a call to action. This identity was formed back in the day, before loadshedding was a bane of every South African’s existence.
Coming from domestic water heating, our MO was a two-fold reduction of electricity consumption (and bills), as well as to reduce pollutants generated from coal and gas-burning power stations. These power stations serve as the backbone of South Africa’s electrical grid.
Hence the name Get Off Grid!

C&I is a booming space but needs thoughtful and careful hands. We actively partner with our customers by providing product training sales and technical support. As a leading importer and distributor of renewable energy products we feel directly responsible for what we sell in the market. We also have finance partners available for all sizes off commercial projects.
Agriculture
The Agricultural sector is in dire need of energy security. Without this we are in danger of having food insecurity. We provide a portfolio off energy products and brands to assist the farming community. We have partnered with key role players in this space and actively work with them together with funding partners available to assist.
