The Lumax IBR Short Rail Roof Anchor (for Rail-less System) is a compact mounting rail/bracket that enables the secure installation of framed photovoltaic (PV) modules directly onto IBR roofs — without requiring a full-length rail substructure. The short rail acts as a minimal but strong anchor for the solar panel clamps (mid‑clamp, end‑clamp) or mounting hardware.
This solution is ideal where a full rail system is either overkill or impractical (small roofs, simple installations, cost-sensitive jobs, or where transportation & handling of long rails is difficult). Once secured to the IBR sheet with self-drilling / self-tapping screws (with integrated EPDM washers or rubber seals), the short rail provides a stable mounting base for solar panels in either portrait or landscape orientation.
