Lumax Corrugated Roof Bracket

The Lumax corrugated roof bracket is a mounting component that securely fastens framed photovoltaic (PV) solar panels onto corrugated metal roofs (e.g. IBR, corrugated galvanised steel, etc.). The bracket attaches directly to the roof’s corrugated sheet profile (either via existing roof fasteners or with supplied screws/bolts), creating a stable foundation for solar rails or a rail-less mounting system.

Once the bracket base is secured to the roof, panel-mounting rails or direct panel clamps are mounted onto the bracket. This forms a strong and weather-resistant structure that can sustain the load of the panels, resist wind uplift, and maintain alignment over time.

This type of mounting solution is widely used in residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural solar installations.

Key Specifications

  • High-strength aluminium

  • Brackets include an EPDM rubber gasket to create a watertight seal

  • Designed for common corrugated roof profiles (e.g., IBR) and standard framed PV modules

  • Supports both portrait and landscape mounting, depending on the rail/clamp system used

  • Anti-corrosion finishes and UV-resistant materials for longevity
  • Structurally rated to withstand regional wind loads and outdoor exposure

Product Benefits

  • Anchors the array firmly to the roof structure. This minimises the risk of failure from wind uplift and ensures long-term structural safety, which protects both the asset and the installer’s liability.

  • Its design is optimised for IBR and other corrugated profiles. This makes it an essential component for installers working on residential, commercial, and agricultural buildings common across the region.

  • The combination of corrosion-resistant materials and EPDM seals provides a durable solution that withstands harsh outdoor environments, ensuring system integrity in coastal and inland climates.

  • Support for both portrait and landscape mounting allows installers to optimise the array layout based on roof geometry and solar capture needs. This maximises system energy output and client return on investment.

  • Rail-less compatible options can reduce material usage, simplify the installation process, and speed up project deployment, leading to lower total project costs and more competitive bids.

  • When installed correctly with proper sealing, the bracket minimises the risk of leaks. This protects the building and helps to maintain existing roof warranties for the property owner.
