Lumax Centre Clamp (26-36 mm)

The Lumax centre/mid clamp is used to secure the inner, adjacent edges of two solar panels to the mounting rail, acting as a central anchor point within the array. It is installed between two panels and fastened to the underlying rail, ensuring the modules remain fixed, aligned, and able to resist mechanical loads.

Centre clamps are used alongside end clamps, rails, roof brackets or mounts, and bolts/hardware to build a stable and durable solar panel array.

Key Specifications

  • Clamp type: Mid / Centre Clamp (for inner panel edges)

  • Compatible panel frame: Compatible with panels with a frame thickness between 26 mm and 36 mm

  • Material: Made from high-grade anodised aluminium

  • Hardware: Stainless steel bolts, screws, and appropriate washers/nuts

  • Primary Function: Fastens the inner edges of two adjacent panels to a mounting rail

Product Benefits

  • By firmly fixing the inner edges of adjacent panels, the mid clamp prevents movement caused by wind, vibration, or thermal expansion, thereby protecting the structural integrity of the entire installation.

  • The clamp helps maintain uniform spacing and alignment across the array. This is essential for preventing stress on the panel frames that can lead to micro-cracks, compromised performance, and potential voiding of the manufacturer’s warranty.

  • The use of anodised aluminium and stainless steel hardware makes the clamp highly resistant to corrosion and UV degradation. This ensures long-term reliability and reduces the likelihood of costly service calls or component failures.

  • A straightforward design allows for quick and simple installation. This directly reduces on-site labour time and associated project costs, improving overall project profitability.

  • Its compatibility with a wide range of standard framed solar panels and mounting rails simplifies inventory and component selection across diverse residential and commercial projects.
